Sammy Smyth MIFS DipFA
Principal and Financial Adviser
In 1978 Sammy started his career with Eagle Star in Ballymena as a Branch Clerk dealing with general insurance. In 1985 he joined Scottish Amicable in Coleraine as a consultant. His career progressed to Belfast in 1990 as a senior consultant, and in 1993 he was promoted to Sales Manager in the Glasgow Branch of Scottish Amicable.
When Scottish Amicable restructured in 1995 he was appointed Regional Sales Manager for Scotland, North of England and Northern Ireland. As he wanted to return to Northern Ireland to live he left that post and set up the current organisation.
Sammy was awarded the ifs level 4 Diploma for Financial Advisers in 2011 and is a member of the Institute of Financial Services
Martyn Freeman BA Financial Services
Administrator
Martyn graduated in 1996 from Glasgow Caledonian University, joined the firm in 1997, and was awarded the Financial Planning Certificate of the Chartered Insurance Institute in December 1998.
Martyn and Julie look after all of the administration from the first point of contact to preparing reports, preparing documents for review meetings, giving information to clients, arranging client meetings etc.
Julie Taggart BSc Hons Business Finance and Investment

Julie joined the firm in May 2003 immediately after graduating from the University of Ulster in Coleraine. In October 2005 Julie completed the Financial Planning certificate with the Chartered Insurance Institute.
